It's Time! The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is designed to improve student achievement by setting annual goals for the district in several priority areas. The LCAP addresses the needs of all students, including the specific needs of English learners, foster youth, and economically disadvantaged students. 

The annual LCAP survey provides SMUSD parents/guardians, staff, students, and community members the opportunity to share feedback on our programs and services. Your input is crucial in developing the goals, actions, and budget priorities for our district. In addition to a staff member, if you are also an SMUSD parent, you will have the opportunity to take the survey as a parent as well.
