Foothills School

Any student currently enrolled within the SMUSD and wanting to transfer to the independent study program (grades 6-12) must complete the online residency verification for their current school first. Once submitted, contact your current school (see contact list below) and let them know you would like to transfer to Foothills School.
Your current school will send the referral information to Foothills School.
Upon receipt by Foothills, your referral will be added with others and then discussed at the next monthly transfer committee meeting.
The following week, you will be notified of the outcome. If selected, the Foothills registrar will contact you to schedule an appointment with the assigned Foothills teacher.
